PLT Training Days on website

Protected Learning Time (PLT) is an opportunity for GP practices to address staff learning and professional development needs.  The content of the PLT sessions is focused around the local priorities and needs of our patients.

If you’re worried about an urgent medical concern, you can call 111 to speak to a fully trained adviser.  Depending on the situation, the NHS 111 team can connect you to a nurse, emergency dentist or a GP, and can arrange face-to-face appointments if they think you need one.  NHS 111 advisers can also assess if you need an ambulance and send one immediately if necessary.

Accident and Emergency attendance is advised if you have a genuine life threatening emergency

The surgery will be closed from 14:00 to 18:00 on the following days:

05/02/2020

16/07/2020

30/07/2020

24/09/2020

Chaperones

All patients are entitled to have a chaperone present for any consultation, examination or procedure where they feel one is required.

This chaperone may be a family member or friend or a formal chaperone i.e. a trained member of staff.

Wherever possible we would ask you to make this request at the time of booking your appointment so that arrangements can be made and your appointment is not delayed in any way.

Where this is not possible we will endeavour to provide a formal chaperone at the time of request. However occasionally it may be necessary to reschedule your appointment.

Your healthcare professional may also require a chaperone to be present for certain consultations in accordance with our Chaperone Policy which you can find under policies
