District nurses

home_visit3They provide nursing treatment and advice to patients who have recently been discharged from hospital or are unable to the come to the surgery for treatment. 

Please contact the surgery if you require the district nurses.

  • ECG ‘s – are undertaken at the surgery
  • Spirometry-are undertaken at the surgery

Community midwife

Our Community Midwife works with the doctor to provide care for mothers before and after delivery.She holds clinics at following times -

  • Tuesday from 13:00 to 17:00 and
  • Thursday from 14:00 to 16:00.

They can also be contacted at Queens hospital, midwifes office. 

Health visitor

She is a qualified nurse who specialises in child development and health promotion. She visits all families with babies and young children at home and also at the surgery. She is available at the surgery on Wednesday between 10:00 to 12:00.

She can also be contacted at Cross Street Clinic.

Community psychiatric nurse

We have a CPN attached to the surgery.She sees patients both at the surgery or in theirown homes. She can be contacted at Horninglow clinic.
